BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (12 Jan 2016) – THIRTY coaches started their five-day FIFA Fitness course organised by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) yesterday.
The opening ceremony of the course was held at the NFABD House along Jalan Pusat Persidangan in Berakas.
FIFA fitness instructor Fritz Schmid from Switzerland, who is currently serving as the Technical Director from Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), will be in charge of conducting the course until Friday.
The participants are made up of personnel who are active with the NFABD’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) programmes from all the four districts and four from the Sport Medicine and Research Centre (SMRC).
According to the NFABD’s representative, the course will be conducted for the first time in their history and aims to provide the participants with more knowledge on the role of fitness coach and to improve the training qualities in terms of football fitness.
NFABD also expects participants to be actively involve more in football especially with programmes that will be organised by the association in the future.
Present to officiate the launching of the course was Executive Member of NFABD, Mohd Noor Hamid.
