Naypyitaw Keep Chase; Yadanarbon Thrash Southern Myanmar

YANGON (16 March 2014) – Naypyitaw FC kept up the chase at the top of the Myanmar National League (MNL) 2014 following their 2-0 win over Zeyar Shwe Myay as a hat-trick from Edison Fonseca ensured that Yadanarbon stay top of the table.

Naypyitaw made sure of the full points this week when Yan Kyaw Htwe struck early in the 12^th minute as Di Piedi then added the second goal in injury time for their sixth win in seven matches.

On the other handm Yadanarbon maintained their position at the top of the table when they pummelled Southern Myanmar with Fonseca grabbing a hat-trick (12^th, 46^th and 50^th).

The other goals for Yadanarbon were scored by Dwe Ko Ko Chit in the 14^th minute, Zin Min Tun (23^rd) and Thet Naing (81^st).

Elsewhere, Manaw Myay beat GFA 3-0 off goals from Ibrahim in the eighth minute, Assale (72^nd) and Nyein Chan Aung (81^st).

Ayeyawady United held Chin United 2-2.
