PHNOM PENH (19 March 2014) – National Police Commissary grabbed their first ever Samdech Hun Sen Cup when they beat Build Bright United 2-0 in the final that was played on the weekend at the National Olympic Stadium.
Noun Borey was the hero with a goal in each half to give National Police their first silverware.
“We were well aware of BBU’s tactic of attacking heavily on us, but we were prepared for it, so it was easy for us to fight back and defend against it,” said National Police coach Ung Kanyanith.
Countered Build Bright coach Chan Veasna: “we did brilliantly in our previous Cup games against but this time round, my players made a few mistakes.”
