PHNOM PENH (29 April 2010) – National Defense Ministry FC moved up to second in the Metfone Cambodian League when they beat Wat Phnom FC 6-0 in the match that was played at the National Olympic Stadium.
With the win, National Defense Ministry are on the same ten points with league leaders albeit on lesser goal difference which pushed them to second in the standings while third is Build Bright United FC. Against Wat Phnom, Khim Borey carved the first goal of the game early in the second minute before Jong Virak slammed two goals (6th and 8th minute) in a three minute blitz. Phuong Soksana and Thong Oudom then scored two further goals in the 26th and 32nd minute respectively for the 5-0 lead as Phuong then scored the last goal of the game ten minutes to the end for the comprehensive win.
