PHNOM PENH (12 June 2009) – Naga Corp FC moved up to third in the Cambodia Premier League 2009 following their comprehensive 3-0 win over National Defense Ministry FC in mid-week.
With the scored tied at the half, Naga Corp stepped up a gear after the break and duly opened account in the 57th minute through Yemi Hoseph before Sansau Patrick doubled their lead four minutes later. Tiep Vathanak then wrapped up the game for Naga with the third goal of the game in the 64th minute. The win has allowed Naga Corp to pick up ten points from six match following their three wins, one draw and two defeats thus far while National Defense are on seventh. While the rest of the competing teams have played six matches, only Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC and Phnom Penh Crown have played a game less.
