PHNOM PENH (12 June 2014) – Naga Corp FC lost touch to Phnom Penh Crown’s title ambition when they were disappointingly held to a 1-1 draw by Build Bright United in the Metfone C-League 2014.
The former champions had taken the lead in the 47th minute off Chimm Sambo before Build Bright fought back with the equalizer off Yusuke Yamagata in the 71st minute.
The one point gave Naga Corp 28 points from 15 matches – eight points adrift of leaders Phnom Penh and six from Boueng Ket Rubber Field.
In the meantime, Svay Rieng picked up only their fifth win in 14 matches after disposing Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh 3-0.
Following a frustrating first half, Svay Rieng finally nailed the opener through Nop Tola in the 69th minute before further goals off Dzarma Bata in the 8rd minute and Soeuy Visal in the 90th minute.
