PHNOM PENH (5 May 2014) – A comprehensive 5-0 beating of Western University FC allowed Naga Corp FC to move to the top of the Metfone Cambodia League 2014 as Barry Lelouma grabbed a personal best with a hat-trick.
The Guinean striker from the back of the net early in the second minute before adding further goals in the fourth and 90th minute. The other goals for Naga Corp were scored by captain Teab Vathanak in the 34th and Chin Chum in the 39th minute.
The three points has allowed Naga Corp to take the top spot at the table albeit temporarily following Phnom Penh Crown’s day off.
Elsewhere, Beoung Ket Rubber Field beat Build Bright United 2-0 as Kirivong Soksenchey edged Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh 1-0 and Asia Europe University beating National Police by the same score line.
Ministry of National Defense fell to a 3-2 loss to TriAsia Phnom Penh.
