PHNOM PENH (21 Aug 2011) – With two games left to the end of the Metfone Cambodia League 2011, former champions Naga Corp FC have moved up within four points of current league leaders Phnom Penh Crown FC.
This week, Naga Corp made sure of the full points off a solitary strike off Chim Sambo seven minutes to the end to get the better of National Police.
With the three points, Naga Corp have picked up 37 points from 16 games while Phnom Penh have 41 points from the same number of games.
In the meantime in the match between two struggling sides, Chhlam Samut garnered only their fourth win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Prak Pre Keila FC.
Sunday (18th and 50th minute) and Rous Somourn (27th and 70th minute) nailed a brace each to give Chhlam Samut the three points as Prak Pre Keila scored their only goal in the game from Math Kelab in the 71st minute.
