YANGON (25 Jan 2013) – The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) will be introducing the second tier league – the MNL-2 – on 15 February with eight semi-professional clubs and also the Myanmar Under-19 team taking part.
With the existence of MNL 2, the MFF are planning to introduce a promotion-relegation system with the top two teams in the MNL 2 at the end of the 2013 season, gaining promotion.
While the bottom two teams from MNL 1 at the end of the year, to be relegated.
