YANGON (18 Jan 2013) – The Myanmar national team has lined up a friendly match against the Philippines on 6 February. It is the first match for Myanmar since their exit from the group stage of the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of last year.
The match will be played at the Thuwana Stadium and will coincide with FIFA’s date for international friendlies which meant that the Philippines might be bringing their European based players for the game.
Park Sung Hwa (extreme right in pix), the chief coach of the Myanmar national team will be calling up 25 players from the Myanmar National League (MNL) on 1 February.
