MYANMAR TO PLAY CHINA IN KUALA LUMPUR

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 24, 2007) – Myanmar will play their second leg, first round match of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers against China this Sunday at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras.

The announcement of the match details in Malaysia was made this afternoon at the Wisma FAM following security concerns back in Yangon.

Myanmar suffered the humiliation of being whitewashed by China 7-0 in the first leg match in Foshan last week and will have a mountain to climb in the return tie.

The Myanmar national team is led by Brazilian Marcos Falopa.

Tickets for the 4pm kick-off match have been pegged at RM15 each.
