In the meantime in Group C, Laos will have to wait until the end of the month to know if they have earned a passage into the next round after being held to a 1-1 draw by Afghanistan in their final match in the group.
Afghanistan topped Group C with seven points after two wins and a draw.
Laos striker Khampheng Sayavutthi had put the home team in front in the 30th minute before Sandjar Mohammed Ahmadi replied for Afghanistan with the equalizer in the 58th minute.
Other than the five group winners getting into the final round of the AFC Challenge Cup 2014, two second-placed teams will also win the passage alongside hosts Maldives.
