PALEMBANG (30 May 2018) – The Indonesian Women’s Football team put up a much better performance in their second friendly tonight when they fell to just a 3-0 loss to Thailand.
The team was pummelled to a 13-0 defeat to the same Thai side in a friendly three days earlier.
In the match that was played at the Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium, the Indonesian women were more resolute for much of the first half before conceding the first goal of the game right before the breather off Alisa Rikpinij.
Indonesia then put up much of the same after the break to concede two late goals off Silawan Intamee and Kanyanat Chetthabutr in the 82nd and 87th minute respectively.
