BANGKOK (29 April 2013) – SCG Muang Thong opened up a four-point lead at the top Thai Premier League 2013 when they came back from a goal down to beat Chiang Rai United 2-1 at the SCG Stadium.
Australian Kyle Nix had beaten Muang Thong keeper Weera Kerdputsa in the 16th minute with a well-taken lob before Sarawut Masuk replied for the home team three minutes later.
In the 70th minute, Ivory Coast’s Dagno Siaka scored the winning goal to give Muang Thong their 21st points from eight matches played thus far.
On second is Buriram United who had little difficulty in beating Insee Police United 3-1 at the I-Mobile Stadium.
Javier Patino found the back of the net twice in the 48th and 62nd minutes as Carmelo Gonzalez scored the other goal for the northeastern side in the 65th.
Insee’s consolation goal came off Kritprom Boonsarn deep in injury time.
