BANGKOK (13 August 2012) – Muang Thong United are comfortable at the top of the Thai Premier League (TPL) 2012 where this week they maintained their 12-point lead over their nearest challenger with a 3-2 win over Pattaya United at the SCG Stadium.
But it was the visitors who took the lead when Juhas Marian blasted in the lead after just four minutes. But Paulo Rangel then nailed the equalizer on 15th minute for both teams to be on level terms at the half.
Pattaya went in front again two minutes after the interval off Anuwat Inyin but Muang Thong rallied with two goals from Mario Djurovski and Phichitphong Cheiuchiu for the win.
Elsewhere, Chonburi FC beat Insee Police United 1-0, Samut Songkhram beat Osotspa 1-0, Chiang Mai drew with Army 2-2 as Wuachon also scored the same score line against Chiang Rai United.
