BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (20 March 2013) – MS PDB (Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council) pulled up on leaders Najip FC in the DST Super League when they edged Kilanas FC 2-1.
With their full three points for their fourth victory in five matches, MS PDB are on the same 12 points with Najip, but on lesser goal difference.
Against Kilanas FC, it was MS PDB who found the lead when Jasrimah Johari headed home a Mohd Bohari Mohd Hasan’s corner before Kilanas replied with the equaliser early in the second half through Mohd Nor Hidayatullah Zaini.
But Mohd Bohari then gave MS PDB the winner with a strike in the 70th minute.
“When they equalised I was still confident because it was only the start of the second half and there was still plenty of time,” said MS PDB’s coach Sahrin Md Jaya.
“In the first half, we had a number of chances and we could’ve gotten three or four goals.”
In the meantime, defending champions, MS ABDB (Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council) came back from a goal down to beat Jerudong FC 5-2.
