BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (27 Jan 2016) – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) are eyeing the treble this season following what was termed as a fabulous 2015 by the team management.
MS ABDB cllinched their very first DST Super League title over bitter rivals Indera Sports Council (SC) in October 2015 before winning their third DST FA Cup after beating Indera 3-2 in December.
The three silverwares which MS ABDB will be gunning in 2016 would be the DST Sumbangsih Cup, the DST Super League and also the DST FA Cup.
“2015 has been a great year but now the pressure starts,” said team manager Razanol Hardi Abd Razak. “We are eyeing a treble, but this season, we will be facing very tough teams.
“Kota Rangers FC who went on unbeaten in the DST Premier League are a team to watch out for, especially they have a team filled with former DPMM FC and national players – captain Sallehuddin Damit being one of them.”
“But at the end of the day, we are a team, and football is about the team. We are proud of him, but the ultimate victory comes from the team’s effort – and that is our motto too,” he said.
