BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (15 May 2013) – As part of the step up to ensure a steady flow of players to the national team, the National FA of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) will be organising more grassroots tournaments.
“NFABD are looking forward to organising more tournaments at the grassroots level,” said HRH Prince Sufri Bolkiah, the president of the NFABD.
“With this programme, I hope that we will be able to produce high quality and experienced players in the future.
“We also need to look at regional tournaments organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) at the Under-14, Under-16, Under-19, Under-23 and senior level.
“This can be used as a platform and target for us in preparing efficient and effective action-plans.”
