VIENTIANE (16 Jan 2011) – The Vientiane Capital Football Federation will be hoping that the 400 million kip (USD50,000) they will inject into the team this year will give the chance to win the Lao League 2011.
The three-time winner of the Lao League (2007, 2008, 2009) failed to win the 2010 championship.
“Therefore, we will use the budget to improve the board of Vientiane football club and look for new football players and also gave them more training,” said Somboune Souvannachoumkham, the president of Vientiane Capital Football Federation.
Other than for the Lao League 2011, the Vientiane Capital Football Federation will also be using the opportunity polish their performance for the 9th National Sport Games in Luang Prabang province next year.
