MONOTONY NOT A PROBLEM FOR YOUNG LIONS

“The players will wake up at 8am before having breakfast half an hour later. Their meals are varied but it is all halal, so there’s no issue there,” said team manager Eugene Loo.

“After breakfast, the players will get on the bus for training where they will spent some hour and an half each day in intensive training.

“The only difference to their regime is that the training field changes every day, so that at least break the monotony somewhat, But the players are not complaining, they are used to the expected.”

Lunch will start at 1pm before the players are given time off to rest until 4pm in time for the team meeting.

“After that, it will be just light training for the players. Dinner will be at 7.30pm with lights out at 11pm,” added Eugene.

“They are used to the schedule already and while they do not have individual televisions in their rooms, at the very least, the common TV in the hall shows English Premier League matches.”
