YANGON (23 Jan 2019) – The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) have unveiled a four-year strategic plan (2019-2022) for the men and women’s national teams, including Futsal.
The MFF have appointed technical director Eric Abrams from Belgium since last October on a three-year contract.
“We are going for the development. For our football community to be developed, we need to do all these contents, there are organization, mission, vision, national teams and national Academies, coaches education, grassroots, Futsal and beach soccer,” said Abrams.
“If you want to have quality players, you need quality coaches. It’s clear. So, if you have quality coaches, you can develop and educate the good players.
“So we’ll do what is the priority for the next six months, the next year or the next 3 and 4 years. I have to make an analysis about what are the strengths and what are the weaknesses under the current condition.”
