KUANTAN (12 Sept 2013) – Malaysia Under-23 will take on the Myanmar U23 team in the final of the Merdeka Tournament tomorrow.
In the final round robin tie last night, the Malaysian youngsters handed the Thailand All-Stars a 3-0 beating at the Darulmakmur Stadium while Myanmar edged Singapore 2-0 at the Temerloh Municipality Stadium.
Ong Kim Swee’s side will meet Myanmar – second in the standings above Thailand on goal difference – in the final which is to be played at the Darulmakmur Stadium.
