PETALING JAYA (16 Nov 2016) – Malaysian head coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee has announced his squad that will carry the challenge as they look to make up for the disappointment ‘of coming close, but yet so far’ in losing the final in 2014.
The Malaysians, winners in 2010, are determined to silence their critics as Kim Swee assembled a squad bereft of a handful of players who had either quit the national team or plagued by injuries.
“I stand by my decisions,” said Kim Swee. “I have faith and confidence in the team. Those picked ‘will deliver’ in Yangon”
