MAKASSAR (7 August 2010) – Robert Rene Alberts might yet be the most expensive coach for PSM Makassar with rumours abound that the club has agreed to pay the Dutchman between IDR900 million to IDR 1 miliar (USD101,000 to USD112,000) per season.
The previous record was held by Miroslav Janu when Makassar paid him IDR700 (USD78,000) million for one season. Other than the salary Alberts, who led Arema Indonesia to the Indonesian Super League in his first season in charge, will also be provided with accommodation, transportation, a driver and also return flight tickets to Malaysia. “We will iron out all the details when Robert arrives here in Makassar. He will be shown our facilities in Karebosi and also our stadium. We will unveil him to the public when we have settled all the details,” said PSM Makassar’s Nurmal. |
