JAKARTA (20 June 2009) – The Indonesia Education League (LPI) has now formed an integral part in the future of Indonesian football.
Subardi, the head of Indonesian Amateur Football under PSSI (Indonesian FA), feels that the education league will be a prime mover in national football as it has the capacity to improve player quality and expanding infrastructure. “The important factor is that the education league must be professionally run,” said Subardi. “The programme must also be imbued with the right coaching technique where they must be handed to the teachers in a consistent fashion.
