BANGKOK (18 Oct 2012) – Datuk Worawi Makudi, the president of the FA of Thailand (FAT) has confirmed that Liverpool will travel east next year where they have been slated to play against a Thai selection side on 24 July 2013 at the Rajamangala Stadium.
The last time the Reds visited Bangkok was back in 2009 when they were held 1-1 by the Thais.
Ong-arj Kosinkar, the general secretary of the FAT, added that Liverpool have promised to bring all their stars to Bangkok including captain Steven Gerrard and striker Luis Suarez.
