YANGON (29 April 2014) – Singapore’s LionsXII will provide the test for Myanmar as they head to next month’s AFC Challenge Cup slated for 19-30 May in Maldives.
Myanmar’s friendly against LionsXII will be played on 2 May at the Youth Training Centre in Thuwunna Stadium.
The match will see recently-appointed Myanmar coach Radojko Avramovic rekindling certain passion against a handful of LionsXII players whom he had led while with the Singapore national side.
For the AFC Challenge Cup, Myanmar are in Group A against hosts Maldives, Palestine and Kyrgyzstan.
Group B are Tukmenistan, Philippines, Afghanistan and Laos.
