SINGAPORE (14 Dec 2011) – Singapore’s LIONSXII have drawn lightweight Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) FC in the first round round of the Malaysia FA Cup on 18 February 2011.
The Malaysia FA Cup is a knockout competition which was first played in 1990 with Selangor winning the most titles with five.
UiTM FC are playing in the FAM League – the third tier of Malaysian football where last season, they finished seventh out of eleven teams.
Other than the Malaysia FA Cup in 2012, the LIONSXII will also play in the Malaysia Super League and also the Malaysia Cup.
