VIENTIANE (18 July 2017) – The Lao Football Federation (LFF) have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Japan Football Association (JFA) in Tokyo.
It is hope that through this agreement, it will foster mutual relationship and continuous cooperation for further development of football in both Laos and Japan.
“I am very honoured by this partnership with Lao Football Federation. Over the years, we have always enjoyed good relationship through various exchanges. We had dispatched Technical Director and coaches for Laos National Team, and our coaches were also able to gain valuable experience and knowledge during their assignments,” said Tashima Kohzo, the President of the JFA as he welcomed Viphet Sihachakr, the Presiden of the LFF.
“Through exchanges in many more areas, we will further strengthen our long friendship and cooperation and work together in unity for the development of our beautiful game in both countries.”
The MoU between LFF and JFA agrees on the cooperation in the following areas:
1.Player development (Men’s and Women’s)
2.Friendly matches, training camps for National Teams of each age category
3.Youth development program
4.Coach education
5.Vitalising women’s football
6.Referee development (football, futsal, beach soccer)
7.Facility management and operation
8.Exchange programs for technical personnel, administrative and management staff
