KORAT (27 March 2015) – Two late strikes towards the closing stages of the game saw ASEAN champions Thailand beating Singapore 2-0 in the match that was played at the at the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima last night.
The visiting Singapore were disciplined in their defending as they held out the Thais for long periods.
But in the end, Suttinun Phukhom broke the deadlock in the 87th minute before Pokkhao Anan finished things off deep in injury time.
Thailand will play Cameroon on 30 March at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
