VIENTIANE (14 Aug 2013) – The Laos national Under-19 team has lined up three friendlies in Gia Lai as part of their preparation for the AFF U19 Championship in Surabaya next month.
The team will play their first game later this evening against a local club side in Pleiku before taking on Vietnam U19 squad three days later. They will then wrap up their trip with a tie against Hoang Anh Gia Lai on 19 August.
The team is under chief coach Chandalaphone Liepvisay.
The AFF U19 will be held in Surabaya on 9-22 September with Laos in Group A against the Philippines, Australia, Timor Leste, Singapore and Cambodia.
Group B are Brunei DS, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand.
