VIENTIANE (10 Feb 2011) – Playing on the road proved to be too tough for Laos when they fell to a 5-2 defeat to Chinese Taipei in the first-leg play-offs of the AFC Challenge Cup 2012.
Lin Cheng Yi opened account with the first goal of the game in the tenth minute before Chang Han scored the first of his first two goals in the 22nd minute.
The score at the half was 3-0 to the advantage of Chinese Taipei when Chen Po Liang added the third with just a minute left to the break.
The homesters piled on the pressure after the restart and four minutes in, Lo Chih An nailed the fourth goal of the game for Chinese Taipei before Chang Han completed his brace seven minutes later.
