VIENTIANE (12 Aug 2015) – An 11-0 beating of EDL FC this week has allowed Lanexang United to take over the top spot in the Laos Premier League 2015 as defending champions Hoang Anh Attapeu lost touch of the leaders.
Khampheng Sayavutthi grabbed a personal best with four goals to be followed by a brace each from Diego Silva, Manolom and and Nunez as Laos international striker Soukaphone Vongchiengkham scored the other for the final score line.
The win gave Lanexang not only the full points but also the lead at the top of the table with 27 points from 12 matches played – three points ahead of second-placed Lao Toyota.
Elsewhere, SHB Vientiane beat Savan FC 3-1, Hoang Anh Attapeu beat Eastern Star FC 4-2.
