JAKARTA (27 Feb 2014) – The Indonesian national Under-19 team have confirmed their participation for the L’Alcudia International U20 championship in Valencia which will feature some of the best youth teams from across several continents.
Among the teams that the Indonesia U20 team will pit their skills against would be the U20 teams of Brazil, Spain, Argentina, China, Japan, Chile and the United States. And this is not inclusive of the youth teams from Barcelona and Valencia.
“The tournament will be held in August this year,” said Sefdin Syaifudin, from the Indonesian National Team Management (BTN). “We hope that this tournament will give the right exposure to the players before the AFC Championship in October.”
