PHNOM PENH (11 May 2009) – KTC Co. Ltd. have stepped up to contribute USD 105,600 towards the Cambodia national Under-23 squad preparation for the SEA Games which will be held in Laos at the end of the year.
Lt. Gen. Sao Sokha, the president of the Federation Football of Cambodia (FFC) recently received the sponsorship from Kim Myung Il, the chairman of KTC Co. Ltd. KTC Co. Ltd, the Korean cable company have been sponsoring the Cambodian national team for the past three years (2007, 2008 and 2009) to the tune of USD 100,000. In the meantime, Cameroonian striker Jean Roger Lappe Lappe scored twice to put Phnom Penh Crown into the RHB Singapore Cup’s quarter final following their recent win over the Young Lions at the Jurong West Stadium. Lappe Lappe nailed the opener in the 25th minute following a one-two with Oscar Mpoke before heading in his second of the evening with a close range effort right at the hour mark.
