BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (17 April 2015) – Kota Junior bounced back to lead the Brunei Futsal League (BFL) after beating Pega Star FT 6-2.
The league leaders had conceded a 5-3 loss to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) on Sunday.
But the win over Pega Star ensured them not only the three points but also the place at the top of the standings – on the same 18 points with MS ABDB and also Arbisyam FC.
“I told them to make more movements even when off the ball and to use their fitness rather than staying put and waiting for their teammates to make a run. Thankfully, the strategy worked,” said Kota Junior manager Steven Yeo
Kota Junior’s next match will be against third-placed Arbisyam FC on 28 April.
In another match, Syah Kampong blasted Silveredz FT 9-0.
