KORAT (18 Nov 2014) – Thailand showed further progress ahead of the AFF Suzuki Cup next week when they beat New Zealand 2-0 tonight at the 80th Anniversary Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima.
The 2012 runners up proved that they are on the right track for the biennial championship with a goal in each half through Kirati Kiaewsombat in the 44th minute and Adisak Kraisorn in the 77th minute.
New Zealand were full of confidence coming into the game after drawing China to a 1-1 draw the previous week.
Thailand are gearing up for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 where they have been drawn in Group B against hosts and defending champions Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar.
