NAKHON RATCHASIMA (20 Jan 2010) – The gate receipts from the King’s Cup will be donated to help earthquake victims in Haiti.
Suwat Liptapanlop, chairman of the organising committee, said the tournament was expected to get around 3.3 million baht (USD100,000) from the sale of tickets. The sum will be given to the Haiti government. ”People around the world are helping Haiti. The organising committee of the King’s Cup, the FA of Thailand and the Korat people have agreed that we should help them too,” Suwat said to the Bangkok Post. |
