HANOI (4 May 2010) – Vietnam international midfielder Kim Tien is recovering from a three-storey fall she suffered while attending national training camp at the National Sports Centre this week.
The accident occurred when she was attempting to hang her clothes Kim Tien lost her footing and fell from the third floor where she landed on her face and chest following the fall which resulted in her being unconscious for several hours. Doctors at Hanoi’s Vietnam-Germany hospital quickly made scans and reported no evidence of brain or spinal injury although they insisted that Kim Tien be kept under close observation. They said that if there are no complication, she will recover within one week. Kim Tien is a regular midfielder for Hanoi Trang An 1 club where she has also been a member of the Vietnam national squad for several years. She scored the decisive goal for the national team’s final match at the SEA Games 2009 when they beat defending champions Thailand.
