KHEMARA WIN OVER HAPLESS WAT PHNOM

PHNOM PENH (22 July 2010) – Struggling Wat Phnom were heaped with further misery when they were handed with their eleventh defeat of the season – this time going down 2-0 to Khemara Keila FC.

Wat Phnom, who have only picked up three wins and two draws from their earlier matches, found themselves behind as early as the fourth minute when Chhun Kirivatharo slots home.

All hopes of getting back into the game was dashed when Khieu Vibol conceded an own goal on 21 minutes.

Wat Phnom rallied after the break but despite several chances just could not find the equaliser as Khemara rode the tide to the finish.
