HO CHI MINH CITY (26 April 2015) – Sanna Khanh Hoa denied Thai Son Nam (TSN) from bagging their third title in three years when they beat the latter 6-2 to lift their first ever Vietnam National Futsal Championships 2015.
Thai Son Nam were champions in 2013 and also 2014 and were clear favourites fo a hat-trick of crowns.
But Khanh Hoa were the more determined side in the match that was played at the Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City which also saw them winning the Fair Play award and taking the Best Player of the Tournament award for captain Thanh Dat.
“Khanh Hoa have won the national futsal championship title for the first time since our establishment six years ago. This victory was the result of hard work of the whole team. My players had a wonderful match,” said Khanh Hoa coach Dang Dinh Khang afterwards.
