PHNOM PENH (25 June 2015) – Defending champions Phnom Penh Crown have completed the signing of Keo brothers – Sokngon and Sokpheng – ahead of the new Metfone Cambodian League which will begin in July.
Sokpheng, 23, previously played for Boeung Ket Angkor FC while Sokngon,had plied his services for Boeung Ket.
“We are very happy having Sokpheng, one of the best players in Cambodia at this time, join us at our club,” said head coach Sam Schweingruber.
“With such a tough schedule ahead of us, so many games in such a short time period, a bigger squad is essential. We are therefore very pleased to add two more players.”
Phnom Penh Crown will begin their title defence against Boeung Ket at their new RSN Stadium in Toul Kork early next month.
