SHAH ALAM (21 Oct 2012) – Kelantan proved that they are perhaps the most successful Malaysian team in recent years when they completed the treble by winning the Malaysia Cup 2012 last night with a 3-2 win over the Armed Forces in extra-time at the Shah Alam Stadium last night.
Malaysian international striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha (pix) proved he can still be Kelantan’s source of goals as he scored a brace before veteran midfielder Indra Putra Mahayuddin netted the winner six minutes into extra-time.
With the win, the Red Warriors added the Malaysia Cup to the FA Cup and Super League crown they won earlier in the season.
