KOTA BAHRU (5 Jan 2018) – After weeks of u-turns and hesitance, Kelantan finally sewed up the signing of their ASEAN quota for the Malaysian Super League (MSL) following their signing of Ferdinand Sinaga of Indonesia.
The 30-year-old Ferdinand has had an illustrious career with two Indonesian Super League titles (Semen Padang in 2012) and Persib Bandung (in 2014) under his belt.
However, Ferdinand will only join Kelantan on 1 February as he has an existing contract with PSM Makassar until 23 January 2018.
“We signed an MoU first with Ferdinand as we have to respect his current contract with PSM,” said Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan, the President of the FA of Kelantan (KAFA).
Other than Ferdinand, Kelantan also completed their signing of Brazilian Bruno Lopes (main pix), who had previously played for Persija Jakarta.
