YANGON (22 Feb 2012) – A drab 1-1 draw against Zeyar Shwe Myay FC has not prevented Kanbawza FC from taking the lead in the Myanmar National League 2012 where they have picked up 16 points from six matches played thus far.
Kanbawza share the top spot with Yadanarbon FC, who are also on 16 points and from the same number of goal difference. Both teams are still undefeated after six games played.
While Kanbawza failed to pick up the full points, Yadanarbon thrashed Rakapura United 5-1 to maintain the pressure at the top as Nay Pyi Taw closed in on third with 11 points.
