JAKARTA (24 Nov 2010) – The Gelora Jakabaring Stadium in Palembang has been chosen as the secondary venue for Group A of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 which will begin on 1 Dec in Indonesia.
They will replace the Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung. The Gelora Jakabaring Stadium will be used to for the decisive Group A match on 7 December between Malaysia and Laos which has to be played simultaneously with the Indonesia-Thailand tie which will be played at the main venue of the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. “The decision is made following an AFF meeting last week,” said Joko Driyono, the chairman of the Local Organising Committee.
