BANGKOK (27 Jan 2013) – Indonesian striker Irfan Bachdim has signed for Thai Premier League (TPL) side Chonburi FC.
Irfan had previously played for Persema Malang in the Indonesian Premier League (IPL). But following his performance in the recent AFF Suzuki Cup, the side which is also known as the Sharks saw fit to sign him following a week’s trial.
Chonburi were the TPL champions in 2007 while last season, they finished as the runners-up.
