JAKARTA (9 May 2015) – The Indonesian Under-23 team has confirmed a friendly against their counterparts from Malaysia on 21 May, likely to be played in Bandung.
Both teams are preparing for the SEA Games at the end of the month.
“We have confirmed the friendly against Malaysia,” said Indonesian U23 coach Aji Santoso. “We don’t have a lot of time in terms of preparation, so we are not looking at the results but rather on combination play which will be more important.”
The first match day of the SEA Games this year will be on 29 May 2015.
In the meantime, the Vietnam U23 were held to a scoreless draw by the South Korean U22 side in a friendly that was played tonight at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
