JAKARTA (22 Oct 2009) – The Indonesia national Under-19 team, which will be playing in the AFC U19 qualifying campaign next month, will get an early taste of the playing field when they start having regular training session at the Jalak Harupat Stadium next week.
Currently, the team is using the Siliwangi Stadium as their permanent base. Indonesia, who are in Group F of the qualifiers, will be up against Australia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore. Under Cesar Payovich Perez, the team is currently undergoing intensive training under a coach well-known for his motivation and tactical acumen. “The players are now working on their combination play,” added Rinaldi Gunapradiptha, the U19 assistant coach. The team is at the moment arranging for two friendly matches in the tune-up for the qualifiers where they will face Singapore in the first game on 7 November 2009. |
