JAKARTA (5 June 2008) – The Indonesia national Under-16 team suffered a 5-0 loss to Danubio in the Quinta (U17)Division of the Uruguayan League 2008.
With ten players from the Uruguayan U17 team, Danubio were in commanding form throughout the match and hardly allowed the young Indonesian side much space to move. Utilising a 4-2-3-1 formation, Tri Windu was given faith between the posts while the backline was marshalled by Alfin, Reffa, Ferdiansyah and Yericho. The midfield was lined by Ridwan and Davitra alongside the forwardline of Syamsir Alam (left wing), Ismail (right wing) and Rinaldi (central) while Alan Martha was the lone striker. Danubio scored three goals in the first half before completing the match with two further goals after the break. “The weather was quite cold even though we played the game at 10 in the morning,” said Alan Martha afterwards. |
